I’m delighted to say that both my books are now published in paperback in the USA! Lois on the Loose was first published as hardcover in the US but of course, we all know that paperbacks are the format of choice for any traveller – so if you want to stuff it in your panniers and take it on the road, now’s your chance! Red Tape & White Knuckles has never been published in the US before so I am delighted to see it making its American debut – with this fabulous new cover design! If you’re a true minimalist you can also buy them both as e-books. They’re published by Octane Press, a true independent, book-loving publisher – which is a rare thing these days, so please support them if you can.

I am delighted to once again be taking part in the fantastic Overland Expo, North America’s premier event for all overland travellers. I’ll be giving presentations, hosting discussions and taking part in roundtable talks with some of the world’s most respected world travellers.
Sat 8 June 2013 – Narbeth Round Table Club, Wales, UK
Organised by the Narberth Round Table and West Wales Triumph Owners’ Club and open to all. The event takes place at Gravell’s Showroom in Narberth. Start time 7.30pm. Tickets £8.50, all funds raised go to charities and good causes. Food and drink will be available.
Thurs 4 July 2013 – International Journal of Motorcycle Studies Conference & Exhibition – London, UK
I am delighted to be giving the keynote speech at this highly-regarded conference. The IJMS is a study and discussion of motorcycle cultures, and they hold a conference every two years with people attending from all over the world. This year it’s in my home town of London! There are lots of fascinating talks and exhibitions throughout the weekend – check out their website for more details.
